Baba could mean
- Beb, an egyptian god
- father in several languages, including Albanian, Urdu, etc.
- Sai Baba of Shirdi (1838?-1918)
- Bala Sai Baba an Indian guru
- Sathya Sai Baba (born circa 1926-1929), a famous Indian guru in Puttaparthi, India
- The Babas are male counterparts to the Nyonyas, Malaysian Straits-Chinese who have adopted local Malay customs. They are known collectively as Peranakans.
- Baba Yaga, a witch in old Slavic mythology, also mentioned in Hungarian folklore, see Baba Yaga. The word means "old woman" in some modern Slavic languages.
- Urai Baba is a character in the anime series Dragon Ball and its sequels, Dragon Ball Z and Dragon Ball GT. She is the sister of Master Roshi.
- Baba (month) is the second month of the Coptic calendar.
