My Belarusy "My Belarusy" ("Мы, беларусы", We the Belarusians) is an unofficial title of the national anthem of Belarus, by the first line of its lyrics. It has been in existence since 1955 as the anthem of the Byelorussian Soviet Socialist Republic. The music is by Nestser Sakalouski. After the collapse of the Soviet Union, only music was used for the anthem. On July 2, 2002, President Lukashenka issued a decree #350 to establish a new lyrics, selected in a contest and given below. Мы, беларусы (In Belarussian) Lyrics by Mihas' Klimovich and U.
