 Prime Minister Khamphoui Sisavtdy
Royal Lao Government in Exile (RLGE) is led by Mr. Khamphoui Sisavtdy as Prime Minister. He had served previously in the Former Laos Royal Government under King Savang Vatthanaas Congressman and was a Professor of Lao History at Srisavangvong University. In 1972, he along with his Lao delegation went to the United States to speak to Secretary of State Dr. Henry Kissinger concerning the proposed Geneva Convention treaties.
Their position is that the government Royal Lao Government was revived on the basis that violations of the Geneva Accords of 1954 and 1962, U.S. Congress Resolutions 240, 169, 309 and 318 and European Parliamentary resolution on Laos in February 15, 2002 and that the Royal Lao Government in Exile is only a interim government based on the membership of eighty Representatives from Lao Political Organizations and Associations are members the Royal Lao Government in Exile.
Currently there the only Royal Family member of Laos that is a member is General Prince Mounivong Kindavong. From the Champasak Royal Family Prince Chao Sisa-nga Nachampasak, serves as Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance.
Their goals are to remove the Communist government and establish democracy in Laos with a implement peace plan. The request an immediate withdraw of Communist Vietnamese troops from their country of Laos and request that United Nations peace keeping troops to ensure safe path of transitions.
Royal Lao Government in Exile has about 900 Anti-Communist fighters populate the border region where Laos, Thailand and Cambodia join together.
