U.S. Highway 160
United States Highway 160 is an east-west United States highway. Its route, if not its number, was made famous in song in 1975, as the road from Wolf Creek Pass to Pagosa Springs, Colorado in C.W. McCall's Country song Wolf Creek Pass.
Termini
As of 2004, the highway's eastern terminus is in Poplar Bluff, Missouri at an intersection with Business U.S. Highway 60. It is co-signed with U.S. Highway 67 for the last 10 miles of its length. Its western terminus is five miles west of Tuba City, Arizona at an intersection with U.S. Highway 89, 10 miles north of the turnoff to the Grand Canyon.
Historic termini
Until the 1950s, US 160 ended in Springfield, Missouri at an intersection with U.S. Highway 60 and historic Route 66. The extension between Springfield and Poplar Bluff parallels U.S. Highway 65 to near Branson, then heads east across the Ozark Mountains.
